The pharmacies of the Gatineau and Hull hospitals and the CHSLD Lionel-Émond nursing home serve more than 200 patients a day each.
Considering the high volume of transactions in these establishments, the CISSS de l’Outaouais would like to equip each of the pharmacies with PacVision units, which are medication bag verification devices based on pill recognition technology that can significantly enhance quality control and patient safety.
